We've just confirmed four shows at the Neptune on July 3, 4, and 5, including a 1 pm Saturday matinée. Each show will contain best-of sketches, as well as videos and improv. For anyone living in Toronto, Mark and Andy will be performing some two-man sketch and stand-up as part of the PROJECTproject Combustion Festival, which runs May 26 to 31 at the Comedy Bar (945b Bloor St. West). There are group shows every night (check the festival website for details), but Mark and Andy will be performing on their own on Friday, May 30, at 8 pm, and Saturday, May 31, at 9:30 pm. Toronto can you handle all this fire in your smog-pants?

This year Picnicface is honored to be the Company in Residence of Dramafest 2008, adjudicating plays performed by high school students from the surrounding Halifax area and other parts of Nova Scotia. Students interested in all fields of theatre take part in classes taught by artists from all over Canada over a three day period. Satire being used to advertise for the object of that satire -- Naomi Klein is feeling pretty smug right about now.
